After waiting anxiously for about three weeks, I finally recieved my first humidor! The nice little chest came with a bubinga finish, with a lovely scent of spanish ceder. For the past few days I have been calibrating the hygrometer, conditioning the humidor and charging the humidifier. Now it has become my precious...
Oh yeah, I have decided to name the humidor Casa Del Fuga.
congrats! bella!

Excellent! Looks like you've got a pretty good stash going already!
Its important to check the condition of the cigars every day for the next week or so - once you're convince the humidor is well calibrated then you won't need to check it so often (though i do anyway, because i just love the smell of the tobacco!).

You mean Casa de la Fuga, if being the feminine form in Spanish?
House of the Fog,
or Stuffy House?..............;)

Aaah... french, spanish and everything else in between. I can never get the feminin/masuline thinggy right. (hopefully i wont do the same blunder in Bangkok or any red-light district for that matter!;))
It is supposed to be "House of Fugue" ;)

Hi chung,
Yes, we ordered 3 humidors in one shot and it was stopped by the customs. However, I did order 2 humidors for my friend and it got through.
A sampler pack that contain a small travel humidor also came through.
I cant remember how much we pay for the humidor. But if you order just one mid sized humidor I guess you're preety safe.
