Bandwidth

Speaking about bandwidth, I was in a meeting with some Japanese guys from Sumitomo Corporation yesterday morning. We were talking about deploying broadband technologies, ADSL and so on. They are looking at improving or upgrading the current ADSL service here.
We are still way behind. A typical ADSL connection here would cost something like RM 88 (USD 23) for 384kbps downlink. In Japan, a 12Mbps downlink would cost you about 3,000 yen a month. That's around RM 100.
Sad huh...
